Jack and Ruth Lubin Hazak Chapter
Our Hazak Chapter provides programming for senior members of B'nai Aviv. We usually meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 1:30 p.m. from September to June, with two special dinners and programs at 5:00 p.m.
Hazak is an acronym. The chet stands for Hochmah (vision), Zayin for Ziknah (maturity), and Kuph for Kadimah (looking ahead). With these themes in mind, we seek to address the desired goals of our members. We offer opportunities to help develop a sense of community and meaningful relationships through a variety of creative programs providing information, socialization, and entertainment. A sample of our programs include Welcome Barbecue, Dialogue with the Rabbi, Musical Program with the Cantor, Lunch and Movie, Dinner and Entertainment, Hazak Shabbat, and guest speakers on a variety of topics.
Membership dues are $25 per person.
