Sisterhood Raffle Party

Saturday, November 23, 2019 25 Cheshvan 5780

8:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Reverse Raffle Rules:

1. Maximum number of tickets to be sold is 300. Minimum donation per ticket is $100.

2. All tickets will be drawn in reverse order starting at 8:05 pm. The 300th or last ticket drawn (if all 300 tickets are not sold) wins the Grand Cash Prize of $10,000.

3. Other prizes awarded are dependent upon actual number of tickets sold.

4. The first ticket drawn will win $100. In lieu of the $100 prize, the holder of the 1st ticket drawn may opt to return their  ticket to the drum for a second chance at the Grand Prize. If the ticket is returned to the drum, the $100 prize is forfeited.

5. When there are only five tickets left to be drawn, the real drama begins! These ticket holders will be asked to come forward. They will have the opportunity to discuss/decide whether to continue with the raffle or split the $10,000 Grand Prize. If there is agreement to stop and split, the Grand Prize will be divided between these last five ticket holders, each receiving $2,000. If any ONE person does not want to split, the raffle will continue and another number will be drawn.

6. Prize payouts will be awarded to the person listed as the original ticket purchaser unless noted otherwise on the original ticket request form. If ticket(s) was handed off to another party OR if ticket was purchased by a group of individuals, payment will be made to the original purchaser on record and it becomes their responsibility to complete/split payouts.

7. Any tickets remaining unsold by 8:00 pm on November 23, 2019 will be announced prior to the start of the raffle and removed from the raffle pool.

8. Each ticket admits two persons to the Reverse Raffle Party.

9. You must be 21 years or older to purchase a raffle ticket and/or attend the Reverse Raffle Party.

10. Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes. A 1099MISC form will be issued for all persons whose prize winnings equal or exceed $600. The following information is required and must be provided prior to payment of such prize: name, address, social security #.

11. In the event of a controversy, the event chairman will rule.

12. The winner of any prize need not be present to win. However, if one or more of the final five remaining ticket holders is not present, it is presumed that the ticket holder did not wish to split (unless otherwise specified in writing) and the remaining numbers will be drawn until the final entry/Grand Prize winner is announced.

12. All additional Terms and Conditions can be found on our website.
